Charles Darwin – It Is Often And Confidently

The limits of knowledge continue to be pushed further and further as science makes advances. One of those advances is the republic wireless promo code from which give you all of the talking, texting and data transfers that you need just by paying a measly $5 each month and using your local wifi network.

But is science not progressing in certain areas? Is there a limit to science?

What scientific experiment proved that torturing babies is wrong? What scientist is working on the process by which Hitler, Mao and Stalin will be punished for their horrendous crimes?

The First Step Of Answering A Question Is Asking It

Charles Darwin’s road from Christian Orthodoxy to a form of non-biblical deism, and finally to a fully agnostic view is perhaps the most striking example of how you should never, ever stop asking questions. One should always be open to new ideas, new points of view, new theories and new practices. To not do so is to limit oneself in a very real way.

Darwin, the father of the modern evolutionary theory, said in Descent of Man that it has confidently and often been stated that human origin can never be truly known. But ignorant people are the ones that are most confident in their statement, not the knowledgeable ones. Those who know little are those who confidently state that an issue or other will never be solved by science – and not those who are knowledgeable.

Those who suggest that something is impossible often do not know remotely enough about the subject in order to pass judgment, especially such a harsh and unequivocal one. One can never know what will happen in the future, what questions will be answered given enough time. Science in particular is advancing at an astounding rate, with more answers being found in the past hundred years than in the rest of humanity’s history combined.
